Feb 8th: Libby Kirkpatrick

U2’s Bono said to Elvis Costello in an interview that “intimacy is the new punk rock.” If that is true, then Libby Kirkpatrick lightning in a jar. She's a soaring, looping comet, she'll knock you off balance. She has lived in India and Thailand, then busked in Ireland, before coming back to the states to set down for a while in both Austin and Boulder, though she's in Cambridge now becoming homemaker-mama-wifey.

Libby Kirkpatrick’s new album  “Heroine” is an invitation to follow her on this next journey, from your heart to hers and back to the center of your own. Libby's re-emergence post-motherhood with “Heroine” places her square in the middle of the post-punk intimacy music genre.
